Playjoy PH Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: September 30, 2026
These Terms govern your use of games and related services published or operated by HiFun Games Limited. The minimum age and product features may differ by Game. Virtual currency and virtual items have no real world value and are not redeemable for anything that has real world value.
1. Agreement and Operator
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and HiFun Games Limited, which publishes games under the Google Play developer name Playjoy PH and the PlayJoy PH brand ("Playjoy PH," "HiFun," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply to games, mobile applications, websites, software, content, updates, customer support, and related products or services published or operated by HiFun Games Limited that link to these Terms (collectively, the "Services" and each applicable game a "Game").
By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the HiFun Games Limited Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain in effect.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirements
You must meet the minimum age displayed in the applicable Game, its app-store listing, and local law, have legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and live in a location where use of the Services is lawful. Some Games are intended only for adults aged 18 or older. If you are below the age of legal majority but are otherwise permitted to use a Game, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms where required. The Services are also unavailable to anyone previously suspended or removed unless we expressly authorize a new account.
The Services do not provide real-money gambling, cash prizes, or virtual items redeemable for money. You must not attempt to convert, trade, or use the Services or Virtual Items for unauthorized gambling, betting, money laundering, or real-world value.
3. Accounts
3.1 Account creation
Some features require a Game account. You must provide accurate information, use only an account and contact method you are authorized to use, and keep account information current. You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent age or eligibility, create accounts for abusive purposes, or sell, transfer, rent, or share an account.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for protecting your device, password, verification codes, and linked login methods and for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by law. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may require proportionate ownership verification before restoring, changing, or deleting an account. We will not ask you to disclose a Google, Apple, Facebook, payment-provider, or Game account password in an email support request.
3.3 Usernames and profiles
We may reject, change, reclaim, or remove a username, nickname, avatar, or profile that infringes rights, impersonates another person, is unlawful or offensive, creates confusion, violates these Terms, or is needed for security or administration. A username does not give you ownership or intellectual-property rights in the name.
3.4 Communications
We may send service, transaction, support, security, legal, and account messages. With any consent required by law, we may also send marketing, promotional, or gameplay messages. You may opt out of non-essential marketing, but service and security messages may continue where necessary.
4. Google Sign-In and Other Third-Party Accounts
You may use Google, Apple, Facebook, Game Center, or another supported provider to create, authenticate, or link an account for a supported Game. Authorization occurs through the provider's own interface. We do not ask you to give us and do not receive the password for a third-party account.
For basic Google Sign-In, the applicable Game uses only the permissions displayed on Google's consent screen, normally openid, email, and profile. If you choose an enabled Google Play Games feature, additional player, achievement, leaderboard, or saved-game information needed for that feature may be used. The Google data section of the Privacy Policy explains the information, purposes, sharing restrictions, retention, and Google Limited Use commitments.
You may revoke a third-party connection through the provider or an available in-game control. Revocation may prevent login or connected features from working. Revoking Google authorization does not automatically delete the applicable Game account. Use the account-deletion process if you also want the Game account and associated data deleted.
A third-party provider controls its platform and may suspend, change, or discontinue its service. Where possible, add another recovery method before revoking a login connection. Our ability to restore access depends on being able to verify account ownership.
5. Limited License, Ownership, and Intellectual Property
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download and use the Services for lawful, non-commercial entertainment on supported devices.
The Company and its licensors own or license the Services and Company Content, including software, code, technology, game mechanics as protected by law, visual interfaces, designs, graphics, characters, audio, text, databases, trademarks, service marks, and compilations. Except for the license expressly granted above, no right, title, or interest is transferred to you.
Unless law expressly provides a non-waivable exception, you may not copy, modify, translate, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, derive source code from, scrape, frame, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, sublicense, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from the Services or Company Content without prior written permission.
6. User Content and Communications
"User Content" includes profile information, nicknames, avatars, messages, chat, images, videos, reviews, posts, feedback, and other material you submit or transmit through the Services. You retain ownership of User Content and are solely responsible for having all rights and permissions needed to submit it.
You grant the Company and its affiliates a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt for technical requirements, transmit, display, moderate, and otherwise use User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Services. The promotional portion of this license applies only to content you make public or submit for a promotion and is subject to applicable law. The license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for copies already shared by others, legal records, protected backups, and uses that must survive to protect rights or comply with law.
Public profiles, leaderboards, chat, and posts may be visible to other users or outside the Services. Do not disclose information you want to keep private. We do not guarantee confidentiality for content submitted to a public or multi-user feature.
User Content does not represent the Company's views. We may review, filter, restrict, remove, preserve, or disclose User Content where reasonably necessary to operate the Services, enforce these Terms, respond to reports, comply with law, or protect users and rights. We are not obligated to retain or provide copies of User Content except as required by law.
7. Virtual Currency and Virtual Items
The Services may include virtual credits, coins, chips, points, currency, boosts, or items (collectively, "Virtual Items"). Virtual Items are a limited license to use a feature inside the Services; they are not owned property, legal tender, stored value, or a financial instrument.
VIRTUAL ITEMS HAVE NO CASH OR REAL-WORLD VALUE, ARE NOT REDEEMABLE FOR MONEY OR ANYTHING OF VALUE, AND MAY NOT BE SOLD, TRANSFERRED, TRADED, EXCHANGED, OR USED FOR REAL-MONEY GAMBLING.
We may manage, regulate, modify, expire, or remove Virtual Items for gameplay, security, legal, or technical reasons. A description such as "permanent" or "unlimited" refers to availability while the relevant Service and account remain available and does not create perpetual ownership. Virtual Items may be lost when an account is suspended, terminated, deleted, or affected by a valid charge reversal, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
Any sale, exchange, transfer, or other transaction outside an expressly authorized feature is an "Unauthorized Transaction." We may stop, reverse, or investigate Unauthorized Transactions and related fraud, exploits, or payment abuse.
8. Purchases, Fees, Billing, and Refunds
Prices, taxes, and products are displayed before purchase. Purchases may be processed by Google Play, Apple, PayPal, Alipay, a card processor, or another provider identified at checkout. Your transaction is also subject to that provider's terms. The provider receives payment credentials; we generally receive the product, price, currency, order ID, date, country, and transaction or refund status.
You authorize the displayed charge and are responsible for applicable taxes and accurate billing information. Do not use a payment method without permission. If a purchase is unauthorized, contact the payment provider and us promptly.
Except where required by law or platform policy, completed purchases, downloaded content, and consumed Virtual Items are final and non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms waives mandatory cancellation, refund, chargeback, or consumer-guarantee rights. Refund requests made through an app store are governed by that store's process.
We may correct pricing, product, crediting, or calculation errors and may reverse duplicated, fraudulent, exploited, or refunded transactions. If an error materially affects a paid purchase, any remedy required by applicable law remains available.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use, assist, encourage, or enable another person to use the Services to:
- violate law, regulation, sanctions, court order, or another person's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
- impersonate, defraud, threaten, stalk, exploit, harass, discriminate against, or harm another person;
- solicit personal or sexual information from a minor or submit child sexual abuse material or other exploitative content;
- post or transmit unlawful, hateful, pornographic, deceptive, defamatory, abusive, malicious, privacy-invasive, or otherwise prohibited content;
- engage in real-money gambling, betting, money laundering, cash-out, or trading accounts or Virtual Items for real-world value;
- use bots, scripts, automation, cheats, hacks, mods, exploits, unauthorized emulators, modified clients, packet manipulation, or third-party software that changes or interferes with the Services or creates an unfair advantage;
- scrape, harvest, infer, sell, disclose, or misuse information about other users;
- send spam, bulk messages, unauthorized advertising, pyramid schemes, or malicious links;
- manipulate rankings, referrals, rewards, ad events, purchase records, search results, or gameplay outcomes;
- introduce malware, overload infrastructure, evade rate limits, probe vulnerabilities, bypass security, gain unauthorized access, or disrupt normal operation;
- remove proprietary notices, falsely imply Company endorsement, or use Company Content for commercial purposes without permission; or
- access the Services through a method not provided or authorized by us.
11. Moderation, Security, and Anti-Cheat Enforcement
We may use automated tools and human review to investigate suspected fraud, cheating, unsafe content, payment abuse, account compromise, and violations of these Terms. We may preserve logs, device signals, messages, transactions, and User Content where reasonably necessary for an investigation, legal obligation, or defense of claims, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Proportionate action may include a warning, content removal, feature restriction, transaction or reward reversal, temporary suspension, permanent termination, device restriction, or referral to a payment provider, platform, rights holder, or authority. Where appropriate and legally permitted, you may appeal by contacting support with the account ID and relevant facts.
12. Copyright and Intellectual-Property Complaints
If you believe content in the Services infringes a copyright or other intellectual-property right, send a notice to jieting@hifungameshk.com containing:
- your physical or electronic signature and authority to act for the rights holder;
- identification of the protected work or right;
- identification and location of the allegedly infringing material, preferably with a URL, player ID, message ID, or screenshot;
- your name, address, phone number, and email address;
- a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the notice is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorized agent.
A counter-notice should identify the removed material and its prior location, provide your contact information and signature, state under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, and include any legally required consent to jurisdiction and service of process. Knowingly material misrepresentations may create liability. Repeat infringers may be terminated.
13. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions, or other feedback, you represent that you may provide it and that it does not contain another person's confidential information. You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to use, modify, publish, distribute, and commercialize the feedback without payment or attribution. This section does not transfer ownership of User Content submitted for ordinary gameplay or support.
14. Third-Party Services and SDK Terms
The Services may link to or integrate identity providers, app stores, payment providers, social networks, advertising and analytics services, support tools, and SDKs. Third-party terms and privacy notices govern their independent services. We do not control third-party availability or content, but remain responsible for obligations imposed on us by applicable law.
15. Privacy and Personal Information
The Privacy Policy explains the information collected through the Services, including device permissions and SDKs, and how it is used, shared, secured, retained, and deleted. If these Terms and the Privacy Policy conflict about personal-information handling, the Privacy Policy controls for that issue.
Our use of information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not used for advertising or transferred to advertising or attribution SDKs.
16. Service Availability, Updates, and Equipment
We may patch, update, rebalance, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services for maintenance, security, legal, technical, gameplay, or business reasons. We do not guarantee that every feature, server, Virtual Item, or third-party integration will always be available. Where law requires, we will provide reasonable notice and any mandatory remedy for paid content.
You are responsible for compatible equipment, software, storage, network access, and charges imposed by carriers, internet providers, platforms, banks, or payment processors. You should install security and game updates within a reasonable time; an outdated version may stop working.
17. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion
You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account deletion using the Privacy Policy process.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account or feature where we reasonably believe there is a violation of these Terms, fraud, cheating, payment abuse, security risk, legal requirement, prolonged inactivity, or risk to users, the Company, or the Services. Urgent action may occur without advance notice. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will explain the action and provide an appeal route.
On termination, the license ends and you may lose access to the account, User Content, game progress, Virtual Items, and related information. No compensation is due for Virtual Items except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Sections that by nature should survive remain effective, including ownership, authorized User Content licenses, payment obligations, enforcement, feedback, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, disputes, and miscellaneous terms.
18. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS,” “WITH ALL FAULTS,” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE GAME OUTCOMES, AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, SECURITY, OR THAT USER OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT IS APPROPRIATE OR RELIABLE.
Information or advice from a representative does not create a warranty not expressly stated in these Terms. These disclaimers do not exclude warranties, consumer guarantees, or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, licensors, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, data, goodwill, Virtual Items, or business, arising from the Services or these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for all claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid through the Services during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 50. This limit does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of mandatory data-protection duties, or another liability that cannot legally be limited.
20. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and representatives from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your material breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your infringement of another person's rights. We may control the defense of a covered claim, and you will reasonably cooperate. You may not settle a claim imposing obligations on us without written consent. This section does not require indemnity for the Company's own negligence, misconduct, or legal violation.
21. Risky Activities
Do not use the Services while driving, operating machinery, or engaged in an activity requiring attention where distraction could cause injury, death, or property damage. Use in those situations is at your own risk and may violate law.
22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and the relationship between you and the Company are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer law in your place of residence continues to apply where it cannot be waived.
Before formal proceedings, a party should send written notice describing the dispute, account, requested resolution, and supporting facts. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve it for 30 calendar days after receipt.
If unresolved, the dispute will be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) under the HKIAC rules in effect when arbitration begins. The seat is Hong Kong, the language is English, and one arbitrator will be appointed unless the applicable rules require otherwise. This section does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief, using an eligible small-claims procedure, or exercising a non-waivable right to bring a consumer claim before a court or authority in the user's place of residence.
23. App-Store and Platform Terms
If you download the Services from Google Play, Apple, or another platform, the platform's usage, payment, refund, family, and device rules also apply. These Terms are between you and the Company, not the platform, except to the extent the platform's terms state that it is a third-party beneficiary. The Company, not the platform, is responsible for the Services and support, subject to applicable platform obligations.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security, technical, product, or business reasons. We will post the updated Terms and change the date above. For a material change, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the Services, website, email, or another appropriate method where required. If consent is legally required, we will request it. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the Services and request account deletion if desired.
25. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and additional terms presented for a feature are the agreement regarding the Services and replace prior terms on the same subject.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in a merger, reorganization, asset transfer, or by operation of law, subject to required notice.
- Severability. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified only as necessary and the remaining provisions remain effective.
- No waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that or another provision.
- No third-party rights. Except for app-store provisions or indemnified parties expressly stated above, no third party has a right to enforce these Terms.
- Headings. Headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
- Language. A translation may be provided for convenience. Where permitted by law, the English version controls if translations conflict.
